    Stainless Steel Z Bracket With Strut Channel is a pre-assembled support component combining a Z-shaped cantilever bracket and a factory-welded strut channel. The Z geometry provides offset mounting for facade rails, pipe supports, or cable trays while maintaining load transfer through a double-bent profile. The integrally welded strut channel eliminates separate channel-to-bracket connections, reducing assembly hardware and potential corrosion points. Both components are fabricated from identical stainless steel grades to prevent galvanic reaction. The bracket leg features slotted holes for vertical adjustment; the strut channel accepts standard M6 to M12 spring nuts or T-bolts. Typical applications include heavy-duty facade subframes, industrial pipe racks, and mechanical support structures in aggressive environments.

    Installation requirements
    Base material
    Concrete minimum C25/30 for anchor bolts. Steel structures: bracket to beam flange with pre-drilled holes using M12 bolts, grade 8.8 minimum. Masonry not recommended without through-bolt retrofit.
    Torque values
    Channel nuts: 25 Nm for M10, 40 Nm for M12. Bracket to substrate: 50 Nm for M12 anchors. Re-torque after 48 hours for concrete creep.
    Corrosion management
    For C5 environments (marine, industrial), specify 316L grade and add bituminous paint to weld seams. Avoid direct contact with carbon steel washers.
    Spacing and edge distance
    Minimum anchor spacing 200 mm. Edge distance from concrete: 100 mm for shear load, 150 mm for tension. Use supplementary reinforcement if violated.
    Application sectors
    Facade engineering Vertical and horizontal mullion support for terracotta, HPL, or metal panel rainscreen systems. Z-bracket offsets account for insulation thickness up to 300 mm.
    Industrial pipework Support for DN50 to DN200 pipes, cable ladders, and ventilation ducts in chemical plants, water treatment, or food production zones requiring stainless steel.
    Transport infrastructure Tunnel wall supports for cable trays, lighting brackets, and signage in metro, railway, or road tunnels with high humidity or de-icing salt exposure.

    Common field issues
    Weld discoloration or rust streaks
    Residual heat tint reduces corrosion resistance. Solution: mechanical brushing with stainless steel wheel or chemical pickling paste. For 316L, re-passivation required after weld grinding.
    Strut channel slot misalignment with bracket holes
    Factory welding fixture deviation. Field correction: enlarge bracket holes to 14 mm diameter max. Do not exceed 2 mm offset per connection. Replace if mismatch > 3 mm.
    Bracket rotation under eccentric load
    Use two anchors per bracket leg instead of single anchor. Alternatively, specify anti-rotation lug welded to bracket base plate (factory option code -AR).
    Thread galling during nut installation
    Apply anti-seize lubricant (nickel-based) for stainless steel threads. Use torque wrench and reduce speed during initial thread engagement.
