These customized stone brackets are manufactured through precision automated stamping and CNC bending processes to maintain tight dimensional tolerances. The system typically consists of an up-and-down anchor, an expansion bolt, and a pin, forming a comprehensive dry-hang wall fixing assembly. This mechanical approach eliminates the need for wet mortars, thereby reducing the structural dead load and preventing efflorescence on the stone surface.
By implementing undercut anchors and Z-brackets, installers can achieve precise alignment even on uneven concrete or steel substructures. The versatility of the L-shaped stone clip allows for integration with various insulation thicknesses, supporting energy-efficient building envelope designs.
STONECLIP DESIGN CAPACITY TABLES
1.0 Vertical loading only
The following tables are for StoneClips carrying vertical loading only (no allowance for wind loading). Each Clip is fixed with one fixing only through the top hole in the back plate.
Fixings are to be selected by the fixing manufacturer's documentation.
